1. Acceptance of these terms
By placing an order, making a payment, accepting a delivery, visiting our farm, or using this website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Refund Policy. If you place an order for another person or organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms on their behalf.
2. Products and availability
We supply farm produce and other farm-related products subject to seasonal availability. Natural products may vary in size, colour, shape, weight and appearance. Images are illustrative and may not exactly represent the delivered product.
Actual supplied quantities may vary where products are sold by weight. The final quantity, applicable rate and total will be shown on the invoice or delivery document. We may substitute, reduce or remove an unavailable item only after informing the customer where reasonably possible.
3. Orders, confirmation and prices
- An enquiry, quotation or cart does not become a confirmed order until Root Valley Farms™ accepts it.
- Prices are stated in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Delivery, packing or handling charges, if applicable, will be communicated before confirmation or shown on the invoice.
- We may decline or cancel an order because of stock shortage, incorrect pricing, delivery limitations, suspected fraud or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Any eligible advance payment will be refunded.
4. Payments
Payments may be accepted through the methods shown at checkout or collection, including cash, card, UPI or an authorised payment gateway. Online payments are subject to confirmation by the payment provider. A pending or failed payment does not settle the invoice.
Customers should not make a second payment while a transaction is pending. If an amount is debited but the order is not updated, contact us with the order number, transaction reference and payment date so that we can verify it.
5. Delivery and acceptance
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith and may change because of weather, traffic, availability or other operational circumstances. The customer must provide an accurate address and contact number and ensure that an authorised person is available to receive the order.
The receiver should inspect the products and quantities at delivery. Any shortage, rejection, damage or quality concern should be recorded with the delivery executive and reported promptly under our Refund Policy. Proof of delivery may include receiver details, OTP, photograph, signature, location, date and time where applicable and lawful.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Eligibility and procedure for cancellation, replacement, return and refund are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory right available to a consumer under applicable law.
7. Customer responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate order, contact, billing and delivery information; use lawful payment methods; follow storage and handling instructions; and not misuse this website, payment QR codes, invoices, accounts or business information.
8. Service limitations and force majeure
To the extent permitted by law, Root Valley Farms™ is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from delays, service interruption, improper storage after delivery, unauthorised use of an account, or events beyond our reasonable control. This includes severe weather, natural disaster, transport disruption, government restriction, network outage, epidemic, labour disruption or supplier failure.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms to reflect operational or legal changes. The version displayed when an order is placed will apply to that order unless applicable law requires otherwise. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be subject to the competent courts in Howrah, West Bengal, without limiting a consumer's right to approach an appropriate consumer commission.
